Wine Confidence takes your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to keep you updated about wine tastings, events, new blog posts and wine news, including occasional special offers and competitions. Any changes to the Privacy or Cookie policies will be updated and published here.
Email addresses added to the Wine Confidence e-newsletter mailing list are collected solely for the purpose of receiving updates on courses, tastings, events, blog posts, wine news and occasional competitions and is not passed onto third parties. Information held includes name and email address (most often) and in some certain cases phone number and home or business address.
Wine Confidence will never sell your data to a third party. The only instance in which Wine Confidence would pass on personal details is during candidate registration for Wine & Spirit Education Courses (WSET) courses when the candidate’s email address and date of birth is passed on to solely to the WSET, using information supplied via the course booking form. This information is confidential within both Wine Confidence and the WSET and is subject to both party’s individual Data Protection Policies and will be held by Wine Confidence for a period of three years after attending a course. The new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) means you have the right to request access to details of your data, to ask us to delete it and even to complain.
